I use a HASP key for unlocking software for a specific software I use for work. But less than a month ago there was a Windows 10 update that made the HASP key stop working. It also doesn't work on my new Windows 11 laptop. The company who makes the keys supposedly has an update driver but that doesn't work either and the software company doesn't know of any fix yet and it is critical for it to work as it is for Fire Life Safety.
Dear Sir, We have discovered that the HASP dongle for Win10/11 , can't use the latest Sentinel Drivers . Uninstall the current drivers and install Version 8.11 from May 2020 Access to this drivers are found here:
Already Tried this and it did not work. The software program I use that requires the HASP key still does not recognize the HASP key. I think it may be a software updated needed with their drivers but I have not received any answers.
Reason: This message appears when you try to execute PTW32 and the hardware key connected to the local parallel port cannot be detected by PTW32. This is probably because the required drivers are not installed or the wrong drivers (HASP drivers) are installed.
The Sentinel driver (and there are many of those) should interface the Admin Control Center from within. So if you see license usage reporting on the Admin Control Center, then it is surely supported by OpenLM.
